April Overview

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will HOPE in Him.”
Lamentations 3:22-24

Learning Through the Trials

The last month was filled with highs and lows. There were times when I felt strong in Him and times when grief or hurt made it impossible to stand. The beautiful part was He was there through all of it, and He is still here guiding my steps today. No matter what country or city you live in, trials still come. The church as a whole has to constantly be in prayer for their leaders and for the direction of the congregation. People struggle with the same sins. Loss still hurts. Through it all, my heart breaks a little, but our Father holds it in His hands and puts it back together. April has taught me a lot about finding joy in the trials (James 1:2). It was a good reminder that life is going to be hard no matter where you live. However, just like Lamentations says, Great is YOUR faithfulness. During the hard days He provided hope. That hope came through His word, songs, hugs, laughter, baptisms and seeing the church serve together. So I will keep seeking and hoping in Him.

Prayer Requests:
-For the church and it’s leaders
-Brothers and sisters all over the world who feel hurt and rejected
-God’s peace to be tangible
-A spirit of forgiveness
-Wisdom as we all serve our Father the best we can
-Summer interns that are coming this week
-Friends struggling with addiction
Praise: I am fully funded to stay through December! Thank you so much!!
I still love hiking up to the cross-
especially when I find friends who are walking too!
